About
Blake Electrical was formed in 1979 in Southend, Essex by the current owner, Ian Blake. The company changed from being a sole trader to a private limited company, Blake Contractors Ltd, in 2001. Blake were also registered with ConstructionLine in 2001.
Over the years, Blake Contractors Ltd has expanded to incorporate a separate property maintenance / general building works managed by Ian’s son, Martin Blake and alarm and security division (Blake Fire & Security Systems) alongside the original Blake Electrical contractors which is managed by experienced Southend electrician, Ian Mower.
Our wealth of experience and dedication to accreditation makes the Blake Group ideally placed to carry out a whole range of contracts from small internal services to whole new builds. In addition, any security works that include electrical or building works can be carried out in-house without the use of sub-contractors.
